Annual General meeting
The NHS Direct Board meeting on Monday 26 July will be our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Like all our Board meetings, this is open to the public.
We appreciate that it can be difficult to get to meetings, and so the AGM will also be streamed live on our website www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk. This will enable NHS Direct members and other interested members of the public to see what is discussed at the meeting and to witness the organisation’s plans and decision making process.
The AGM will review the financial year 2009-2010, to coincide with the publication of our annual report. We will look back at what the organisation has achieved in that time, and look forward to our goals for the year ahead.
In addition to the live broadcast from the meeting, we plan to include extra content on the website, such as videos and case studies. We hope that you will take this opportunity to join the AGM, so put the date in your diary, tune in and let us know what you think.
