Health information advisor

  • Full-time and part-time
  • Locations across England

As a health information advisor, you’ll assess callers' needs for health information and research that information, using approved resources. You’ll then provide the caller with comprehensive, accurate information that meets their needs:

  • by telephone,
  • by post, or
  • using other agreed channels.

You'll take part in supervising, teaching and mentoring other staff or students. You'll also be involved in providing other services, such as:

  • PALS (patient advice and liaison services), and
  • health alert response lines.

You’ll need excellent verbal and written communication skills.
