The NHS Direct logo is an integral part of our brand identity.
In order to protect the NHS, the NHS Direct brand, and the information we provide, we cannot make the logos freely available.
Crown copyright
The NHS Direct logo is protected under Crown Copyright.
The NHS identity guidelines, which apply to NHS Direct, state that ‘the NHS logo can only be used by NHS organisations, or on services and information that the NHS has had some involvement in. This is to protect the NHS from being seen as the source of materials that have not originated from the NHS.’

Only NHS organisations can use our logos and images.
